Labour Card Scholarship: Check eligibility and apply to claim a scholarship up to Rs 11000
The Labour Welfare Board introduced the Labour Scholarship scheme to provide financial assistance to students by offering them Rs.11,000. If the family member has applied for the labour Card, they can claim the scholarship. Those who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the Labour Card and claim a scholarship from the Karnataka State government.
Benefits
- Children of Construction Workers or daily labourers can apply for the Labour Card
- They can apply for scholarships for students and claim an amount from Rs.1100 to Rs.11,000
- Families who are struggling to provide education to their children can claim a scholarship from the Karnataka State Government
- Scholarship is provided to students studying in class 1 till Master’s Degree or Medical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
Eligibility Criteria
- Students applying for the scholarship must be permanent residents of Karnataka
- General category students must score 50% or above to claim the scholarship
- Students from the SC/ST categories should score 45% or above to claim the scholarship amount
- The parent’s monthly income should not exceed Rs.35,000 to claim the scholarship
- Parents must have a labour card introduced by the Karnataka State Government

- Search for the Karnataka State Government labour card scholarship and click on the link
- Click on registration for scholarship and provide the basic details like phone number and OTP to fill out the application form
- Enter the details required for the application form
- Upload the mentioned documents
- Cross-verify the entered details and click on submit
How do you check the Payment Status?
- Visit the official website
- Then search for the Scholarship payment status and click on the link
- Enter the application number and you will receive an OTP on the registered number
- Enter the OTP and click on submit to check the scholarship payment status
